Honoring our friend
This charity was established as a way to honor the memory of our friend Christopher. It was founded, and run by Christopher’s friends. The charity will award scholarships to deserving community members who best embody Christopher’s spirit as well as make donations to various deserving organizations in his name.
Christopher Miles was an accomplished student and athlete who graduated from North Gwinnett high school in 2019. One week after graduation Christopher suffered a seizure, which led to the eventual diagnosis of a stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumor.
Following the diagnosis and surgery, and while receiving radiation and chemotherapy, Christopher also attended Georgia Southern University.
Throughout his treatments Christopher exemplified strength and courage that served as an inspiration to all around him.
Christopher’s battle ended on May 25, 2020.
Christopher’s life, while short, was eventful. A star on the football field and basketball court, an exceptional student, and an amazing friend. He will always be remembered by those who loved him by many nicknames…Deputy, Tank, Legend, CMiles, Toph…but most people simply refer to him as “our friend Christopher.”
